We stand in front of an unusual case: two painters who have left their individual directions in order to work together on an original and innovative project.
The work of Marta and Silvia is full of dinamic creativity, with good balance of colours and forms. Most remarkable is the combined use of varied materials and textures..
 Two principal characteristics can be highlighted in their work.. The first is the artistic with constructive tendencies, and the second is of a  decorative nature which derives from their experiance as interior designers.

Marta Cañellas: 3rd  prize “Memorial Picasso”, 1982
After finishing her studies in Interior Design and being professionally employed as such, painting continued to be an important creative outlet.

Silvia Angusto: Silvia was a student of Aurora Altisent and Clara         Guillot, and studied Architecture at the University of Barcelona. Coming from a family of painters she has always been immersed in the world of art

Marta and Silvia started working together in October 1998 beginning with a series of experiments with materials using distinctive tecniques.
