Born in Caracas in 1955, he completed his studies in Art and Design at the Instituto de Diseño Neuman where he graduated in 1978. Following this he complemented his artistic studies with diverse courses in drawing, painting and carpentry. Parallel to this he developed his skills as a carpenter and furniture designer which helped develop his art work in its early stages with diverse techniques like the assembly of pieces over wooden supports and the use of industrial paints in the construction of what Fernando calls limited objects. At the moment he is concentrating on the bi-dimensional with an accent on an iconographic content, images, like photograms from memory remit an internal journey in his personal and perceptual world.

Since arriving in Barcelona some years ago Adam´s reputation and success has steadily grown, culminating in sell out shows in Milan and frequent participation at international art fairs such as Art Miami, Affordable Art Fair London and Salzburg World Fine Art Fair.
